Katie’s bridals

I had the pleasure of photographing Katie at the studio, along with her darling little sisters.  Three of her brothers were there, too, but were so well behaved and polite I barely knew they were there.  What an amazing family!  There are 13 siblings with 2 more on the way.  I can barely handle my 14 month old!  We had so much fun (at least I did!)  The first image is my favorite, but there are lots of great ones of this beautiful bride and her adorable flowergirls.  Good luck Katie!

First mini-session announced!

 

Our first mini-session day will take place on Tuesday, April 22.   Call now to reserve your date and time.  We’ll be using a green backdrop (see sample above) so plan outfits accordingly.  Your $40 session fee is required within 5 days of booking to hold your date and time for you.  Please read the detailed information below before you call to book your session.  The mini-sessions are open to our current clients first, and if any spots remain will open to the general public.

These sessions are designed for those of you that just can’t get enough of me!  No, really, they are for those that love photos so much, that once or twice a year just isn’t enough.  If you want to capture your little ones frequently, but don’t need a full Premier Session each time, then these mini-sessions are just for you!

Mini-sessions will generally occur once a month.  Session time will vary, but will last no more than 25 minutes.  A maximum of 3 subjects per mini-session.  We’ll post details on our blog for each upcoming mini-session, including the date and the backdrop color.

Other portrait sizes and specialty products are not available for mini-sessions, unless otherwise specified.

The $40 session fee is required at the time of booking to hold your timeslot.  The session fee is non-refundable and may not be applied to future mini-sessions.  No other discounts or membership benefits apply.  Maximum of 3 subjects per mini-session.  No clothing or backdrop changes.

If you would like only one pose, Andrea will choose the best pose for your collection.  Payment for at least one collection is required at the time of the session.  You may choose to purchase additional poses, but must purchase an additional collection for each pose.  In this case, Andrea will post an online web gallery for you, with up to 10 poses to choose from.  There is a $25 web gallery fee, which will be waived if you choose more than one pose.  The web gallery will be active for 7 days.  Any orders placed within those 7 days are at mini-session special pricing.  After 7 days our regular A la Carte portrait pricing is in effect.  All orders must be paid in full before we place the order.

There are no re-shoots or refunds for mini-sessions.  Because these sessions are so short, your child may not have sufficient time to feel at ease with me when we begin the session.  If I do not feel that I captured any saleable images, I will not print a less than adequate portrait for you.  In that event, however, you may apply your pre-paid collection fee to a future mini-session.  If you are worried that your child may not open up in the short time allowed, we encourage you to book a Premier Session, which includes up to 90 minutes of time.

Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your appointment.  If you arrive more than 10 minutes late you will forfeit your session fee and you may book a future session, no exceptions.

New Stuff for 2008!

Well I’ve finally finished my new Product Guide for this year.  We are so excited to offer lots of new products, sessions, and ideas for 2008.  We now offer mini-sessions (these will take place about once a month starting in April) and Day in the Life sessions in addition to our Premiere Sessions; we have added Hospital sessions for newborns; we have a selection of Wall Gallery ideas and a new Design Guide to assist with ordering decisions; we have added lots of fun press printed products, like photo notebooks, stickers, bookmarks, and more; and we are now offering digital files for purchase!  We are now also featuring an entirely different way of ordering your portraits, with our new “Design Your Own Collection.”  We still offer A la Carte prints, too.  We are also going to be doing a few Limited Edition sets this year, with the first one to be announced soon.

 We would love to do something special to give back to the community, too.  So I’m brainstorming with another local photographer to figure out the logistics, but we want to do something big so we can donate to a local charity.  If you have a suggestion for a charity that is special to you please drop me a note and I’ll be glad to consider your cause.

We’re off to Vegas this weekend for a big photography convention, and when we get back…it’s time to update my studio displays and my website portfolio and to finally get some of the displays up around town that I’ve been promising.  More details about that when they are actually up on the walls and you can stop by to check them out.
